The popular website BuzzFeed has listed two water parks in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City among the coolest of its kind in the world.
The list of 31 “ridiculously cool” water parks ranks Suoi Tien Theme Park in Ho Chi Minh City at number 10 and West Lake Theme Park in Hanoi number 14.
It recommends the Hanoi park for the epic slides while the Buddhist-themed Suoi Tien has live crocodiles that tourists can feed.
The West Lake theme park is located right next to the capital city’s West Lake. Entrance costs from VND130,000 ($6) a person.

Suoi Tien theme park of over a 55 hectares is a leading entertainment destination in the southern city. It is located around 18 kilometers, or half an hour of car ride from the city downtown.
A public bus route is also available from Ben Thanh Market.
The park is open every day. Entrance costs VND80,000 ($3.66) for adults and half of that for children. Visitors need to pay another VND80,000 to enter the water park.
The water park, whose Vietnamese name Bien Tien Dong means “Ocean of Little Angels,” has a water surface of 15,000 square meters and is said to use water from the beach town of Vung Tau.
It is marked with overwhelming rock statues of Lac Long Quan and Au Co, the legendary dragon father and fairy mother of Vietnamese people.
Most of the other theme parks suggested are from the US, and some from China, Latin America and Europe.
