Currently, discovering Tien Cave includes 1 day tour, 2 days 1 night tour and tour succeeding visiting Tu Lan Cave in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The tour will be exploited from November to the end of August next year (duration from September to October is the rainy season, so the tour is pause).
According to Mr. Nguyen Chau A – General Director of Oxalis Company, discovering Tien Cave is a less complicated adventure tour because the terrain and weather during organizing time of the tour are suitable for all visitors. So, when joining in the tour, visitors not only have the opportunity to challenge themselves, but also admire the interesting beauty in Tien Cave.
Tien Cave was surveyed for the first time by British Caving Association in 1994 and now is officially put into exploiting to serve visitors. This is a dry cave connecting with Tu Lan Cave, but not belongs to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Tien Cave has a total length of nearly 3km and consists of 2 branches: Tien 1 Cave and Tien 2 Cave. The entrance of the cave is quite wide with the height of nearly 70m and width of nearly 50m. Tien Cave has specially structure, including many parts with vaulted shape and height of 30-100m. Because the cave is flooded in the flood season, the floor of the cave is covered by a layer of fine sand. Thanks to the sunshine lights into the cave, the plants grow well and create the colorful natural painting of Tien Cave. |
