2016 Asia Kiteboard Tour comes to central Viet Nam's coast

NINH THUAN (VNS) — The 2016 Asia Kiteboard Tour will be held at Ninh Chu Bay in the central coastal province of Ninh Thuan from February 24 to 28 next year.

According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event is expected to attract 100 kite surfers from 40 countries and territories.

The event will be the first in a series, with the second to be held in Pranburi in Thailand in March and the last one in China’s Hainan in April.

It aims at promoting marine sports and tourism in Ninh Thuan among other objectives. — VNS
