Workshop on discovery of Belgium

In attendance were Mr. Bruno Angelet – Ambassador of Belgium to Viet Nam, Mr. Mattias Debroyer – Economic & Commercial Counsellor of the Brussels-Capital Region, Mr. Wouter Vanhees – Economic and Trade Commissioner for the Flemish Region, representatives of travel businesses in Viet Nam.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Bruno Angelet said Belgium, located in the heart of Europe, has unique natural landscape, many ancient castles, museums, rich culinary tradition with various delicacies and world-renowned beer Tongerlo Blond. Belgium is also known as a land of music and festivals. He hoped that in the future, the two sides will promote cooperation in tourism development through increased exchange of tourists.

At the workshop, Mr. Mattias Debroyer and Mr. Wouter Vanhees presented tourism potentials of Brussels and Flanders. The representative of Consulate of Belgium in Ho Chi Minh City also introduced visa procedures to Belgium.
