Other Asian cities, including Delhi, Bangkok, Bali, and Manila, are also proven to be cost-effective places to enjoy a cold one, with £1.50 per bottle on average, in each destination.
The magazine quoted the website GoEuro.co.uk’s survey that the Krakow and Kiev, respectively, topped the 2015 Beer Price Index with the average bottle costing the equivalent of £1.07.
The survey compared prices at both bars and supermarkets in 75 major cities.
In addition, Geneva, Switzerland was the most expensive city for beer drinkers with £4.08 per bottle, the survey showed.
Tel Aviv, Oslo, and New York were among the other top five.
