The policy was enforced from November 1 this year and will be valid until December 31, 2016.
The policy requires that a group comprises of at least five tourists andtheir tour is arranged by a travel agency designated by Taiwan orsponsored by a certain business.
After the trial duration, Taiwan will review outcomes to consider the extension of the policy.
The incentive is expected to increase the number of arrivals to Taiwanfrom these countries by 40 percent compared to the current figure.
