HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – Italian fashion brand Gucci on Thursday opened a store in HCM City’s Dong Khoi Street.

Though present in the country since 2007 through a local franchise, Gucci has for the first time an outlet where it directly controls distribution.

The company said direct control would ensure that its customers in Viet Nam enjoy the highest level of service and quality for which the brand is renowned.

The new store is located on the first floor of Sheraton Saigon Hotel on Dong Khoi Street, and offers accessories for men and women including handbags, small leather items, shoes, travel pieces, silks, timepieces, jewellery and fragrances.
