Traditional mother-of-pearl inlay handicraft in Dong Vinh village

Dong Vinh village in Chuyen My commune, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi hasbeen well-known throughout the northern region for the traditionalpearl inlay handicraft for a long time.

Raw materials for the work, including shell of snails and pearl, aretaken from many localities around the country, as well as imported fromvarious foreign countries including Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia.
