Binh Thanh Cham Tower was established in the eighth century and is currently located in Binh Thanh Commune of Trang Bang District. Being a monument of the Oc-Eo culture, Binh Thanh Cham Tower has drawn much attention from tourists all over the country because of its outstanding structure.
The tower is 10 meters tall. It is an ancient tower recognized by the State as a Historical Monument in 1993.
Binh Thanh Cham Tower has very high historical value because it is the only tower having intact stone wall (since being discovered in 1886). The architecture of Binh Thanh Cham Tower is considered very rare and precious national heritage.
Binh Thanh Cham Tower was constructed with brick with techniques similar to those of the Cham construction of the people in the Central region of the country. The techniques to build the tower are very outstanding.
It was established carefully by a clever team of skillful architects. Binh Thanh Cham Tower possesses many prominent details which create outstanding features. The tower is considered one of the most wonderful works of sculptors at that time.
