The band’s tour, which is co-sponsored by the Goethe Institute in Viet Nam and in the Philippines, is scheduled to be held in Ha Noi, Da Nang, and Hue, apart from HCM City and Manila.
During their tour, which consists of seven scheduled performances from October 27 to November 6, the boys will also have meetings and dialogues with Goethe Institute students, as well as German students of other universities.
Although the young band was only formed last summer, the four boys from GOLF have been friends since childhood. They are Jonathan Heitkamper, drummer, Nils Asthoff, guitar bass player, Andre Hormeyer and Wolfgang Petrasch, vocalists, guitarists and keyboardists.
GOLF’s music is a harmonic mingle of electronic, indie and pop. Besides, they create an “extravagant and unique” style from usual objects like vacuum cleaner, coins, keys and frying pans. Ping Pong, one of their beloved song, has created a space for imagination.
The band has performed at many successful music festivals such as the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, c/o-pop-Musikfestival in Cologne, or recording in co-operation with Tom Hessler, member of FOTOS band.
Free tickets of the tour will be available at Ha Noi Goethe Institute on October 21, Da Nang on October 22, Hue on October 23, and HCM City on October 26.
