Hoi An offers water puppetry performances to attract more tourists

The performances will be staged from 18:30 every Friday and Saturday at Hoi An Theater at No. 548 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hoi An Town. An entrance ticket costs VND80, 000 (US$3.6) for adults and VND40,000 (US1.8) for children. The show will have English, French and Vietnamese – language performances.

The highlight of the show will be performances presenting the daily life of Vietnamese people, such as catching fish, folk dance, and Apsara dances and humming-top stories.

Vietnamese water puppetry dates back hundreds of years and originated in the Red River Delta of northern Viet Nam.
